Saheliyon-ki-Bari:

Another highlight is 'Saheliyon-ki-Bari or the Garden of the Maids of Honor' in the north of the city, so called because this charming ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot, where royal ladies came for a stroll. It is a picturesque garden with well-tended extensive lawns, shady walks and beautiful flowerbeds, with fountains, marble elephants and delightful lotus pools. Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honor).

It was designed by Maharana Fateh Singh in 1734 for the queen and her maids, and consists of beautiful gardens, lawns and fountains. Ornamental lotus pools, with finely sculpted cenotaphs of black stone surrounded by fountains, are the main theme. There are five main fountains, each one unique - which can be made to sprinkle water for a nominal fee of Rs.5.

Udaipur Solar Observatory:

Udaipur Solar Observatory is situated on an island in the middle of the Fateh Sagar lake in Udaipur (Location: 240 35.1' : 730 42.8' ). The sky conditions at Udaipur are quite favorable for solar observations.

Lake Palace Hotel:

Founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh, the lake city of Udaipur is often referred to as the 'Venice of the East'. Studded with extravagant palaces, awe-inspiring temples and romantic gardens filled with blossoming trees, this 'city of Dreams' is, not surprisingly, a favorite with travellers, both Indian and foreign. A fantasy island palace shimmering on mirror-calm Lake Pichola, the lake Palace is one of the most romantic hotels in the world.

Moti Magri:

Moti Magri has a powerful and picture perfect statue of Maha Rana Pratap. It's a beautiful garden made on a hill on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake. Moti Magari has been constructed around the ruins of an ancient palace. It is pleasant to walk through the lower Japanese style garden to the top, where there is a panoramic view of Udaipur. This vista is also accessible by road.
